CIM Jacket Clawgear

CIM (Combat Insulation Medium) has been designed as a very durable outer jacket for prolonged operations in extremely cold and humid environments. The reduced infrared signature (NIR) makes this jacket ideal for special operations. The selection of materials focused on lightweight and strong performance materials with a small weight. The pattern has been constructed for high mobility and to harmonise with the body's contours.

The durable nylon woven fabric with tear resistant structure features a durable water repellent coating (DWR) and a wind blocking membrane with high waterproofness and breathability for optimal moisture management. Sealed seams to prevent water ingress and ensure the best possible protection during operations in demanding environments.

Climashield Apex is a high performance insulation material with excellent thermal efficiency and has been tested and used for military tasks. This featherweight material has high tear resistance, good moisture transfer qualities and can even be packed into a small space. The combination of 133 g for body and 100 g for sleeves achieved the best results during development and field tests. The inner lining comes with the same featherlight and comfortable nylon fabric we already chose for the CIL jacket.

The neck area and hood are equipped with a comfortable and warm fabric, the hood is fully adjustable and compatible with the helmet. All zips on the outer shell are waterproof, both sleeves have a sleeve pocket and a hook and loop mounting surface. The large front pockets allow easy access even when using chest platforms or backpacks. The CIM also features pit zips to facilitate ventilation and temperature regulation.
