The Silverback SRS-A2 Sport 16 ”is our licensed version of the Desert Tech Scout Recon Stealth A2 bullpup sniper rifle, the latest model in the SRS line.
The SRS monolithic receiver, made of aircraft grade aluminum, by CNC, features the new patented Desert Tech barrel mount, which attaches more evenly to the barrel and reduces maximum stress points. SRS-A2 receptors are very light, actively participating in mass reduction. Each receiver has a unique engraved serial number. The lightweight fiberglass reinforced handguard is using the MLOK mounting system. The SRS A2 receiver features a stainless steel tripod mounting point (1 / 4-20 UNC thread). The SRS A2 receiver is compatible with the replica Desert Tech monopod (patented).
The air displacement of the SRS draw bolt is 41 cc, the second largest volume for bolt action on the market after our HTI. This bolt can accept any 13mm APS spring. Original spring type and muzzle power may differ from country to country, please consult your dealer directly. The cylinder is made of stainless steel (23.8mm diameter) and the monolithic bolt handle is made of steel, equipped with M8 bolt knob. The piston has an aircraft grade aluminum body and head, a steel piston end and a 70 ° synthetic rubber piston cup. The spring guide is made of fiberglass reinforced nylon, it is equipped with 2 damping holes. The bolt's dust cover is perforated and the red piston acts as a priming indicator.
The piston pawl is made of steel and the aluminum trigger is adjustable in preload. The trigger housing is made of fiberglass reinforced nylon. The height of the piston pawl can be adjusted by moving the trigger housing forward or backward. Steel security is ambidextrous.
The outer barrel (CNC, aircraft grade aluminum) has a bull profile and is threaded (M24x1 thread, compatible with DTSS silencers). The inner barrel is stabilized by 3 barrel spacers. The internal barrel (6.05 x 420 mm, brass) and the jump rubber (60 ° silicone) are AEG type.
The bi-directional CNC aluminum jump unit, connected directly to the quick-change barrel assembly, enables barrel change in seconds while maintaining your jump setup. The configuration of the jump is carried out by means of two screws in the upper part of the rifle, through the receiver, with the provided key, without removing the barrel. The hop-up can alternatively be used with two larger adjusting screws at the expense of the quick-change jump adjusting ability.
The base and top extensions (two included) are made of fiberglass reinforced nylon.
The lightweight polymer magazine has a capacity of 25 rounds (60 grams). This magazine features a new screwless design, allowing quick disassembly without tools for cleaning.
Without zinc alloy, all screws are 10.9 steel.
