Profile TurboFan Goggles ESS

A longtime favorite of the US Special Forces groups. UU., The ESS Profile TurboFan is better and stronger than ever. After a series of great improvements, the Profile TurboFan represents one of the most effective weapons compatible with night vision against lens fogging.

Powered by a single AA battery, the TurboFan system attracts the flow of fresh air through the bottom edge of the glasses frame and forces the moist air to the top at around 13,000 rpm. Even when perspiration or temperatures are extreme, this two-speed system will expel moisture and dramatically reduce the fogging of the lens for more than 150 hours of continuous operation (low speed).

This enhanced fog removal system features the robust PowerPod battery pack, now with a button switch and repositioned near the back of the head for trouble-free operation. The new technology provides constant fan speeds as battery power decreases, and an "auto power off" timer turns off the fan system to preserve battery life if accidentally left on. The waterproof housing facilitates operation in all weather.

The extra thick 2.8mm polycarbonate lenses offer maximum impact protection and 100% UVA / UVB filtration. ESS's advanced ClearZone FlowCoat lens treatments provide the optimal combination of scratch coatings on the outside of the lenses and anti-fog coatings on the inside.

All Profile series lenses provide 100% UVA / UVB protection and optical clarity without distortion. Profile series (LPL) laser protection lenses are available.

The turbo fan profile is compatible with the ESS U-Rx and P-2B Rx inserts.
